Man that was a hard day

Man thank God for His grace. Today was a very angering day, my “new” computer crashed and thankfully all my important files I backed up so I could safely reformat my compy and now I have it back up and running.

But yeah the past two days I’ve had alot of opportunities to lose my temper excpet that by the grace of God I have a pretty good check on my temper.

I’m really trying to buckle down and blog more so I’m making a mid years resolution to blog more and longer.

I gots a new laptop

So yeah I’m here on my brand new Dell laptop and it is just awesome, that’s really all I can say about it, it’s just awesome.

In other news…I started out today really down on myself. Mostly because I had to clean a really large cabin today alone and I was really dreading it. Of course when I got there it was pretty dirty; atleast dirtier than most cabins I’ve cleaned this summer; and man was I having a hard morning. So I cleaned the whole downstairs(which is probably as large as my house) in a foul mood and well it didn’t go to well. I got upstairs(which was probably Double the size of my house) and I was just so discouraged. Then the awesome thing happened(it may sound weird but…), God totally slapped me in the face and told me to knock it off. I sometimes do not like thos wake up calls but today’s was great. Well for the next 2 hours I had a good chat with my Father and well the day all of a sudden became so fun. But yeah God’s so awesome even when I’m being punished for my crap. But yeah today tourned into an alright day.

Bottles, bottles and more bottles

So yeah work today was hard, most of you are going to laugh at this but I was sorting bottles all day. So yeah I started today thinking “this should be easy” and once again those were my famous last words. Well I got off of work and my legs were burning and my back is still sore, it must have been from all the up and down movements. But yeah I think I sorted about three to four hundred dollars worth of bottles today, and I’m still not done them all, I only got a little under half of the bottles at my boss’s house sorted. But yeah it was still a fun day and it looks like I’ll have to do it again so woo.

Tomorrow my new laptop will be in so I’m really excited about that. That’s about it there.

Not such a good day

Yeah well this weekend being August 9-10 there was this years MC grad. Also there was the Grad BBQ and well I wasn’t able to get down there. I’m feeling a little left out at the moment. It really stinks but alas I need to be working and so I stayed up here.

But yeah on a happier note, Weeman is coming back up in a few days, I’m so stoked for that. It’ll be nice to have another MC graduate up here in 100 Mile. It won’t feel so hard to fight for those that I love and the fact that one of my best friends is coming home has alot to do with it too.

So yeah the Tech Discipleship school(or whatever it’s called I lost track) is over and we had a film festival on friday night. Well everyones movie was good and I do believe mine was the worst. My personal favourite was Courtenay and Morgan’s Reality Tek movie which was so cool. Both of Dalton’s movies were awesome and my groups short film was pretty darn good too(granted it was pretty creepy, I will post it on here when it’s gets put onto youtube).

It’s a really exciting time for me right now because in less than a week Dusty comes back to Hun City. It’ll be awesome with him back.

Well I’m going to have to cut this short there’s some pretty nasty lighting outside and it’s quite close so I’m going to shut down my compy just incase the power goes out.

The third day

So yeah it’s the third day of the tech discipleship school here at the CCLF. So yeah today I believe that we’re going to be doing some photography and most likely some photo editing and manipulation. I’ve never really done any of that stuff to this so I’ll hopefully learn some good stuff today.

I was just thinking about Genesis. As the title of this blog is the third day I was thinking what was created on the third day and to my annoyance I could not remember so I’m gonna look it up right now…..so yeah God created land and the sea(well the sea was already there but He separated the water’s). God also created the first vegetation, so on the third day all trees and plants were created so in other words the first signs of life appeared as God spoke and just like all the rest of creation it was good.

Oh and the band Third Day is probably one of my favourites.

Tim Hawkins is awesome

Man this comedian called Tim Hawkins has got to be the funniest guy I’ve ever heard so far. His comedy is incedibly funny and clean at the same time. If you wanna check his stuff out just got to either www.godtube.com or www.youtube.com and search Tim Hawkins, as you can see I have one of his video’s already on my page here so you can watch that. I promise you it’s not even his funniest stuff. It’s definitely a laugh.

So yeah I’m here at the CCLF doing some really awesome stuff with the Tech Discipleship school that the church is putting on. Truthfully this part is not the most fun part for me because I suck at anything to do with journaling, but it’ll be alright cause I just gotta write something.

This week is going to be pretty sweet I’m mostly looking forward to the filming and video editing part of it as I find that I have an instinctual talent for it. I am definitely an amateur when it comes down to the skill of it but when it comes to stuff like that I learn quickly.

I really like the way Courtenay and Morgan teach this class, I learn best when people use visual instruments to teach. I would not be able to learn as well if they were showing me on one computer and I had to just watch instead of trying it myself while they go along. It’s great to be able to do some hands on learning. I learn best when I learn as I fail at things, which is pretty funny.

That’s about it for now.
